My house has been overrun with slime. A simple slime recipe can be made in a matter of minutes and very inexpensively. The kids really enjoy making and playing with it.
HOW TO MAKE SLIME WITH A SALINE SOLUTION
For this simple slime recipe you will need the following ingredients:
- 6 oz Glitter Glue
- 1/2 tbps Baking Soda
- 1 tbsp Saline Contact Lens Solution (Make Sure It Contains Boric Acid)
- Large Freezer Bag
- Bowl
- 1 Tbsp Measuring Cup
Follow these simple instructions to make perfect glitter slime every time!
STEP ONE
Choose your favorite color of glitter glue. Make sure that each bottle has at least 6 oz. If you can’t find glitter glue, regular Elmer’s glue will work but you will need to purchase additional glitter and food coloring.
STEP TWO
Add a 1/2 tbsp of baking soda into the bowl and mix.

STEP THREE
Add 1 tbsp of saline contact lens solution into the bowl. Make sure the saline solution also has boric acid.

STEP FOUR
Mix all ingredient until the mixture begins to gel up. It should become difficult to stir after several minutes. If the mixture is too tough, add VERY small amounts of the saline solution and stir until the consistency is correct.

STEP FIVE
That’s it. You will need to store this simple slime recipe in an air tight container. A large freezer bag will work perfectly. A decent sized Tupperware container will work well too.

Try experimenting with different colors and mixtures of colors. Stay tuned for future slime projects.
