Melt the white chocolate in a microwave safe dish for 30 seconds and stir. Repeat the process until the chocolate is complete melted.
Stir the malted milk powder into the melted white chocolate and stir completely. If the mixture begins to harden, place back into the microwave for an additional 30 seconds.
Milk chocolate and mold
The first step requires melting the milk chocolate in the microwave. I recommend placing all the chips in a microwave safe dish and cooking for 30 seconds, stirring. Rinse and repeat at 30 second intervals until the chips are completely melted.
Dip your paint brush into the melted chocolate and apply to all the half spheres in the mold.
Place the mold into the refrigerator for 5 minutes
Repeat steps 2 and 3 three times
Putting it all together
Remove the finished chocolate mold from the refrigerator.
Scrape the excess chocolate off the mold’s surface. This can be used again.
Pinch a small amount of the white chocolate/malted milk powder mixture and roll into a ball. Place it into the mold for each half sphere. Do not go over the half sphere or it will cause problems in the final phase.
Place the mold back into the refrigerator for 5 minutes.
Place a skillet on the stove at medium heat.
Remove two of the half spheres.
Place both open ends into the skillet for a few seconds.
Push both open ends together to make a complete sphere and place into a dish.
